Steal a Chicken Badges: All 3 and How Rare They Are

Roblox badges are the one piece of hard progress data a Roblox game publishes about itself: the Badges API shows how many players own each one. That makes them a good yardstick for how far most players get. Figures below were pulled from the Roblox Badges API on September 10, 2026.

Cosmic Zone44,6637,746about 2.5%Aug 28, 2026

The share column is what Roblox reports as the badge’s win rate: owners compared with everyone who has earned the Welcome badge. The badges were added two weeks after launch, so players who quit before August 28 are not counted in any of them.

How to earn each badge

  • Welcome. Awarded when you join the game. Nothing to do.
  • Rainbow Trail! Tied to the rainbow trail. Trails are bought in the Shop with Cash and multiply the Speed you gain per treadmill step; see the Speed guide for the trail ladder.
  • Cosmic Zone. Awarded for reaching the Cosmic Zone, the late area advertised by the horned purple chicken in the official art. Its Speed requirement is not published; the zones page lists the checkpoints before it.

What the numbers tell you

About one player in twelve has the rainbow trail, and one in forty has reached Cosmic Zone. If you are past 1 billion Speed you are already in a small group. The daily counts also show the game is still growing: more than 400,000 players earned the Welcome badge in a single day.

New badges

The Divine Quest event on September 12 adds a new zone, and the first two zone badges suggest it may bring one too. We will add it here once it appears in the Roblox Badges API. See the Divine Quest page.
