Steal a Chicken Zones: Speed Needed for Every Area
Steal a Chicken does not lock zones behind doors; it locks them behind Speed. Every nest area shows a recommended Speed, and if you are slower than that, the Guard catches you before you reach your pen. This page collects every Speed checkpoint that has appeared in dated gameplay, in order.

Area names beyond Forest, Lake and Cosmic Zone have not been confirmed by the developer, and one video also mentions a beach area (where the Cash Chicken nests). We list the number rather than guess a name.
Cosmic Zone
Cosmic Zone is the one late area the game itself names: reaching it awards the Cosmic Zone badge. Roblox’s badge counter shows 44,663 players had earned it by September 10, 2026, against 2,233,529 who earned the Welcome badge. That is roughly 2.5%, so if you have not reached it yet, you are in good company. Its exact Speed requirement is not published; plan on being well past the 1 billion checkpoint. More on the badges on the badges page.
The Divine Quest zone (September 12)
Kibrix Runner has scheduled a Roblox event called NEW ZONE, subtitled DIVINE QUEST, from September 12, 2026 at 12:00 UTC to September 13 at 21:00 UTC. It adds a new zone, but its name, Speed requirement and chickens were not published before launch. Details go on the Divine Quest page as soon as they can be checked.
How to move up zones faster
- Spend on Speed first. Treadmill upgrades and trails are the only way past each checkpoint; see the Speed guide.
- Steal one zone below your Speed. A chicken you can carry home reliably beats a heavier one you drop.
- Upgrade the pen as you climb. Better zones mean more valuable eggs, but only if you have slots for the birds. The money guide covers pen prices.
- Time late runs for daylight. New chickens arrive at night, but long runs in the dark are where players get caught.
Why the numbers jump so much
Speed grows multiplicatively once trails and multipliers stack, which is why the checkpoints go from thousands to billions within a few hours of play. In the September 8 run, one player went from a fresh start to 115 million Speed and then to 500 million within a single session by maxing the treadmill and buying Cash multipliers. If a zone looks impossibly far away, it is usually one trail purchase away.
